Alison Harper Polidano, CPA
Alison, owner and founder, specializes in the role of controller/acting CFO for small businesses. With experience acting as an internal auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a controller and finance director in the private sector, she has developed an eye for process and efficiency improvements. She has set a precedent for her staff to work seamlessly with on-site teams and audit and tax firms to ensure the client maintains financial compliance with a focus on reducing expenses and improving revenue. In addition to running the business, she has been a part time lecturer at Oakland University and Eastern Michigan University College of Business. She obtained an Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Accounting from Oakland University.

Angie Wilson, Finance
Angie brings a diverse skill set to her clients since 2017, making her an asset in her role as part-time director of finance/controller for small businesses. She started her career in Ernst & Young’s finance department, managing audit and tax partners books of business and transitioned to managing the finance departments in the San Jose and Palo Alto offices. While working for a fast growing international biotech company she gained experience in the areas of cash accounting, sales analysis, financial planning and forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, sales force alignment and variable compensation, and was responsible for reporting results to executive management. These roles developed her ability to work in a dynamic setting as part of many teams while meeting individual deliverables and deadlines.

Andrea Lipan
Andrea specializes in small business accounting which makes her an ideal part time controller. She has over 15 years of experience, since 2019 with AP Finance, with standard accounting practices and business operations management. In her previous role in private industry she implemented inventory controls and management systems, handled all product importing, conducted semi-annual warehouse audits, and managed all accounting and HR tasks. Prior to that, she served as the Lead Accountant where she was responsible for tax prep and filing, payroll, scheduling, product procurement and tracking, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Her comprehensive skill set contains a blend of experience that has given her a knowledgeable understanding of what it takes to keep your finances and accounting compliance in order and help your business thrive.

Mary Johnson
Mary came to AP Finance in 2019 from an inventory management background and has moved up through the ranks of to go from an accounting associate to acting senior accountant. She is proficient in Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. She now oversees accountants on half of her book of business and handles month end close. She will ensure her clients have the best treatment and is one fast learner and adapter. Her forte is multitasking and she always gets the work done! She mostly handles businesses under $2M. She has additional skills surrounding inventory tracking and management. She received the AP Finance Personal Growth and Development Award in April 2025!

Deb Rummel
Deb joined AP Finance in 2018 from a health background. She learned Quickbooks Online quickly and subsequently Quickbooks desktop. She is a great addition to any small business accounting team as part time accounting staff. She is able to handle all day to day A/P and A/R transactions. She is able to track expenses and ensure credit card charges are accurate and tie back to valid receipts or monthly charges. She is proficient in monthly commission payments and processing payroll. She is also able to ensure inventory products are shipped and tracked and work with sales representatives for their needs. She is great at follow through and thinking through situations and understanding client needs. She received the AP Finance Thinking Detailed Award in October 2024.

Pamela Harper
Pamela joined AP Finance in 2022 and has extensive Quickbooks Online experience when she managed the family business. She is a great addition to any small business accounting team as part time accounting associate. She is able to handle coding and classifying transactions. She is able to track expenses and ensure credit card charges are accurate and tie back to valid receipts or monthly charges. She handles reconciliations and inter-company transactions. She is proficient in monthly commission payments and processing payroll. Her personality shines through and she is a joy to work with. She is great at follow-up and ensuring she is doing the best job every time and won the AP Finance Thinking deeper award in June 2024.

Heather Fordeck
Heather is new to AP Finance as of the summer of 2024. She has worked in finance in the past and as an administrator in the Saline schools. She is proficient in Quickbooks Online and Gusto. She can enter bills, create invoices, A/R follow up, codes bank and CC transactions, follows up on receipts, processes reconciliations, processes payrolls and benefits and handles all tasks. She has a great personality and is very sociable, she is detailed and organized and is a an asset to any organization she works with.
